Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team.

Summary:

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for the management of overall financial operations. With a focus on accurate and timely financial reporting, the Senior Accountant plays an integral role in the monthly reporting cycle, including tracking accruals, preparing reconciliations, and providing analysis of financial results. This position supports the Finance team and Assistant Controller in directing and managing the Company's accounting functions, as well as maintaining accounting systems and implementing changes as required. The Senior Accountant provides guidance in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, assists with monthly duties, and takes on special projects with the company Concretes strategic plan.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and other accounting records.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other required reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Oversee the work of junior staff and provide mentorship.
  • Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Domestic accounting experience at another CPA firm focusing on medium-sized clients (Private company clients).
  • CPA designated or actively pursuing CPA designation.
  • Strong experience in compilations, NTRs, bookkeeping, tax, and audit engagements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in accounting software, including Excel and a general ledger system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
