Combo Welder - 2nd Shift (4PM - 1AM CST)

Daydreamer Outsourcing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Combo Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering timely, high-quality welding work while adhering to the responsibilities outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up welding equipment according to contract drawings and approved procedures.
• Maintain traceability of completed work, following standard procedures.
• Utilize Sub Arc Welding, GTAW, and GMAW techniques as needed.
• Perform arc gouging when required.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding safety, productivity, and quality.
• Ensure the correct welding wire is used according to WPS.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly care for equipment, including welding machines and positioners.
• Prioritize safety while striving for high productivity and quality output.

Education and Experience:

• 3 years of pipe welding experience (100% X-ray)
• Proficiency in arc gouging and torch operations
• Ability to pass a 6G mig/flux weld test
• ASME Vessel experience required
• X-ray positioner skilled welders

• Basic layout skills
• Blueprint reading

• Flux Core, Mig, and Sub Arc Welding
• Ability to prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, and climb
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• High level of manual dexterity
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Distinguish various colors/color coding
• Pass a vision test

Participate in a hearing baseline test.
