About Daye

Daye is a leader in gynae health and we're expanding into new markets. Incorporated in 2018, we're a fast growing, highly ambitious new venture with over 40 team members. We have offices in London, UK and Sofia, Bulgaria, but offer a hybrid working environment. To date, Daye has been trusted by over 60,000 people with periods and has recently raised $11 million in series A funding from high profile investors based in Silicon Valley and London, UK.

At the heart of Daye is R&D and most of our processes are vertically integrated, including our tampon production. We are building a comprehensive gynae health platform that will address all areas of womens' health, from first menstruation through to menopause, and beyond. Our goals are to bridge the gender gap in medical research, and product innovation, by designing products rooted in science and inspired by womens' intuition.

For example; one of our key hypotheses was that tampons can be used for a lot more than just soaking up menstrual fluid. Therefore, we designed:

  • a pain-relieving tampon to help the 90% of women who suffer cramps;

  • a tampon to detect STIs and HPV;

  • a tampon to treat common vaginal infections like candida and BV.

We are currently working on several new digital and physical products and are in the process of expanding to the US market. We exist to raise the standards in gynae health by creating innovative products and services that fit conveniently into our lives, and we need exceptional talent to help achieve our mission.

About the opportunity

Over the next 12 months, our aim is to more than double our current subscriber base and build out our B2B sales channels, which means you'll be part of a company on an exceptionally high growth trajectory. We are also exceptionally ambitious in our plans for rolling out our new products and services to workplaces and healthcare channels.

As the first hire in the UK to be dedicated solely on B2B sales, you will help to build out the initial pipeline of customers and the associated processes required to serve both workplaces and healthcare clinics. In the first year, you will be both building the processes but also the sales as the sole sales hire.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of sales experience where you consistently outperformed targets

  • Previous experience selling either in to HR departments and/or healthcare clinics

  • Experience setting up and executing against the full sales funnel

  • Working with and optimising key digital sales tools e.g. Hubspot

  • Self-starter who is results-driven

  • An excellent communicator both written and spoken

  • Confident personality and a drive to make it happen

  • Works well independently with little supervision. In year 1, you will be the only sales person focused on B2B

  • Drive to outperform targets and metrics

  • Ability to meet in person with clients when required (approximately 2 days per week)

  • Comfortable starting conversations with customers about taboo topics eg. periods, vaginal screens

  • Experience working in a start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans that expand Daye's B2B customer base

  • Recommend and build out the sales tools required to scale sales outreach, conversion, and management (e.g. Hubspot)

  • Create the required processes in order to scale the channel including the development of all materials and presentations

  • Create, test out and optimise the sales strategy for each channel - workplace and private health care clinics

  • Research, contact and convert new customers representing at a minimum of £100K worth of sales in Year 1

  • Build customer base to hit UK sales targets

  • Develop an internal process for the ongoing account management of closed accounts
