Our Business

  • Show willingness to learn and apply relevant bookkeeping software and principles.

  • Complete work delegated by Directors and Managers within required deadlines.

  • Submit timesheets on time.

  • Meet billable hours/WIP budget requirements, with a minimum of 1,530 working hours per annum (for full-time positions).

  • Work effectively with bookkeeping and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

  • Ensure time spent on tasks remains within budgeted hours.

  • Attend regular internal education and training sessions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve or streamline internal business processes and communicate them appropriately.

  • Strictly adhere to all confidentiality policies and procedures.

Technical Knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping software such as Xero, MYOB, QBO, and Receipt Bank.

  • Clear understanding of business tax obligations including GST, PAYG Withholding, Payroll Tax, Superannuation Guarantee, and Return to Work.

  • Strong understanding of payroll obligations including payroll processing, employee entitlements, and redundancies.

  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping processes and general business reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regular processing of client bookkeeping and maintenance of accurate accounting balances.

  • Deliver agreed bookkeeping services to assigned clients with clear deliverables and deadlines.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures established by the Bookkeeping Management Team.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhancements to client service delivery.
