Accounting Specialist - Pooling

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. This full-time role will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and financial reporting support to ensure the smooth and accurate operation of our financial systems.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses to support business decision-making
• Reconciling and processing transactions, such as invoices, payments, and journal entries
• Providing support for financial audits and responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting or financial reporting role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
