We are looking for a candidate who is available to work PART-TIME, TWICE A WEEK.

*Candidate must be amenable to work onsite in Cubao, Quezon City.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Month end closing and reporting - review Profit and Loss Statements and make appropriate accruals/prepayments as required
  • Maintain integrity of general ledger by ensuring that all journals posted are complete, accurate and substantiated
  • Preparation and reconciliation of accounting journals accurately and in a timely manner
  • Be able to research, understand and interpret accounting standards and apply knowledge on day to day workings in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations with required supporting documentation and follow up with outstanding items
  • Possess thorough understanding of fixed asset accounting standard and tax requirements and be able to deliver timely and accurate capitalisation, disposals, reconciliation and reporting for both accounting and tax purposes
  • Assist with preparation of BAS returns
  • Assist with developing and implementing appropriate internal control policies and procedures
  • Respond to enquiries from both internal and external sources and ad-hoc duties as required
  • Preparing analyses of general ledger accounts and producing monthly or ad hoc reports
  • Daily bank and credit cards reconciliation
  • Weekly suppliers payments and AP tasks
  • Responding to supplier or customer enquiries of a financial nature
  • Provides support and process payroll
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits and tax
  • Perform other duties as required to support the CFO

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Current knowledge of accounting standards, principles and practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail, professional attitude, reliable
  • Be self driven and ability to consistently meet all deadlines
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Be able to work under pressure and attend to any ad hoc functions as may be required
  • Support team members, sharing knowledge and information
  • Ability to drive efficiencies, insights and informed decision making through extensive analysis
  • Adopts a professional approach to own accountability

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5+ years accounting related experience is essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Is working towards completion of CA/CPA
  • Proven finance/accounting experience including well developed skills in analysis and interpretation of financial data.
  • Familiarity with Software.
