Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist will manage and grow a suite of digital profiles across multiple business entities within the towing, transportation, workshop, mechanical, and welding industries.
This role requires a creative, detail-oriented individual who can oversee content production, design, and digital marketing across approximately 15 profiles, including five trading companies and several related brand landing pages.

The ideal candidate is organized, skilled in digital communication, and has a strong command of English (grammar, spelling, and tone). They will balance creativity with professionalism, using tools like ChatGPT for ideation while ensuring all content is personalised, industry-relevant, and human in tonenever generic or AI-sounding.

This position plays a key role in maintaining brand consistency, developing campaigns, and supporting the businesss operational teams through regular communication and high-quality marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Profile Social Media Management

  • Manage approximately 15 social media accounts across multiple brands and platforms (Meta/Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.).

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging, brand-consistent posts for each profile using Meta Business Suite and other management tools.

  • Develop content calendars tailored to each businesss audience, ensuring regular and strategic posting.

  • Maintain a strong brand voice and visual consistency across all accounts.

  • Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments, and maintain professional, timely online interactions.

  • Manage and optimise Meta Business Suite accounts, ad campaigns, and insights dashboards.

2. Direct Communication with On-Ground Teams

  • Liaise weekly with on-ground team managers across different business units (towing, mechanical, transport, welding, and workshops) to request photos, updates, ideas, and key information for content creation.

  • Gather authentic, up-to-date material from teams to showcase real work, people, and achievements.

  • Build positive relationships with team leads to ensure accurate and timely content flow from each business unit.

  • Translate technical or operational updates into engaging digital content for public or internal use.

3. Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Write, edit, and publish high-quality, industry-appropriate posts, captions, blogs, and newsletters.

  • Use AI tools like ChatGPT as an aid for content ideationensuring all output remains authentic, human, and brand-aligned.

  • Avoid generic AI phrasing or repetitive, template-style content.

  • Capture or edit photos/videos as needed to support storytelling and brand visibility.

  • Ensure all written content is grammatically correct and follows Australian/UK English spelling conventions.

4. Email Marketing

  • Design and manage regular email campaigns and newsletters across multiple Klaviyo accounts.

  • Create segmented, brand-appropriate content for different audiences and services.

  • Write authentic, engaging, and conversational copyavoiding robotic or AI-generated tones.

  • Track and analyse campaign performance (open rates, click-throughs, conversions) and recommend improvements.

  • Maintain subscriber lists, ensure compliance with privacy and anti-spam regulations, and optimise automations where possible.

5. Design & Branding Support (Ad Hoc Projects)

  • Create visual marketing materials, including posters, award submissions, email signatures, PowerPoint templates, and digital graphics.

  • Assist in maintaining and refining brand guidelines for each company.

  • Support the marketing team with creative design and layout for campaigns, events, and presentations.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Track engagement metrics, follower growth, and campaign performance across all accounts.

  • Produce regular reports for management, highlighting trends, successes, and areas for improvement.

  • Use analytics to guide content strategy, posting schedules, and campaign themes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing multiple social media and email accounts.

  • Strong knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Klaviyo.

  • Experience creating authentic content for trade, industrial, or service-based industries (preferred).

  • Excellent English writing and editing skills with impeccable spelling and grammar.

  • Proficiency in design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and the ability to use them effectively without producing AI-sounding content.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple brands and deadlines.

  • Comfortable collaborating remotely with operations teams and workshop staff.
