Mid-Level Software Test Engineer (Remote - Brasil)

Tasks 

• Support the execution of test strategies defined by the team or project lead
  
• Create and maintain test plans and documentation based on project requirements
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional and technical needs
  
• Develop and run automated test cases using tools like Cypress, TestCafe, or Selenium
  
• Apply functional, regression, and exploratory testing techniques
  
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in coordination with development teams
  
• Communicate clearly about testing activities, risks, and outcomes to teammates and stakeholders
  
• Contribute to quality assurance practices and suggest improvements
  
• Stay up to date with testing tools and methodologies, continuously improving your craft
  

Requirements 

• 2+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
  
• Experience with automated test suites across web and/or mobile platforms
  
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Cypress.io, TestCafe, Selenium, or mobile frameworks (iOS/Android)
  
• Programming knowledge to support test automation and troubleshooting
  
• Good understanding of SQL and working with relational or NoSQL databases
  
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  
• Clear and professional communication with team members and clients
  
• Understanding of SDLC and software testing principles
  
• Proficient English (spoken and written) is mandatory
