About the job Pricing Strategy Manager

The person who gets the job will use data analysis, market research, and working with people from different departments to come up with and put into action pricing models that support the company's business goals.

Main Duties:

Make and put into action pricing plans: Make pricing frameworks based on data that are specific to different products, channels, and customer groups.

Market Analysis: Keep an eye on market trends, competitor prices, and customer demand to help you make pricing decisions.

Financial Modeling: Create and keep up financial models to predict sales, figure out how price changes will affect sales, and find ways to improve margins.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to make sure that pricing strategies fit with the company's overall goals.

Performance Tracking: Keep an eye on and analyze pricing performance, write detailed reports, and share your findings and suggestions with senior leadership.

Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve pricing strategies to meet the needs of the business and the market.

Policy Development: Set rules and policies for negotiating contracts, offering discounts, and setting promotional prices.

Compliance: Make sure that all pricing activities follow the law, the rules, and moral standards.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.

2 or more years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or a similar analytical job

Excel and data visualization tools (like Tableau and Power BI) are things you are very good at.

Having worked with pricing software and ERP systems before is a plus.

Great at talking to people and giving presentations

Able to handle many projects at once and meet deadlines

Good at solving problems and understanding business.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in [the relevant field, like technology, retail, or manufacturing]

Certification in Pricing (for example, Certified Pricing Professional)

Pay: $55 to $80 per hour, depending on experience, and education.
