Senior Business Analytics Manager

The Senior Business Analytics Manager plays a critical role in transforming data into strategic insights to support business decisions. This role is responsible for leading a team of analysts, overseeing complex data projects, and partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, optimize operations, and drive growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical acumen with leadership, communication, and business strategy skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of business analysts and data professionals.

• Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to understand key performance drivers and develop actionable insights.

• Develop and implement reporting frameworks and KPIs to monitor business performance.

• Drive the development of dashboards, visualizations, and data models using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

• Manage and prioritize analytics projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.

• Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

• Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.

• Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.

• Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience in business analytics, data strategy, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Proficient in SQL and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).

• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Proven ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

• Experience working in cross-functional environments and influencing senior stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
