Funds Lawyer

Responsibilities

You will work closely with a team of lawyers and executives with extensive industry experience in fund formation, SFC-authorisation and regulatory matters, as well as build up your network in the financial services industry. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing legal advice on the establishment and distribution of SFC-authorised retail investment funds

• Advising on the formation and governance of professional investor-focused private funds

• Managing compliance for retail and private funds under SFC codes and guidelines

• Working closely with partners, associates, and clients to ensure transactions are completed efficiently and effectively

• Developing and managing client relationships

Requirements

• Hong Kong qualified lawyers with 1 - 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience would be preferred. Overseas qualified lawyers with equivalent experience and newly qualified lawyers will also be considered

• Good understanding and knowledge of the financial services industry including funds management, compliance and regulatory functions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to speak, read and write English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently
