Employment Lawyer

We are currently looking for an Employment Lawyer to join our Employment Team within the Corporate Commercial Group. The prospects of career development are promising for the right talent.

Responsibilities

As an Employment Lawyer, you will be part of a market leading group with colleagues from diversified academic backgrounds and life experiences. This exciting opportunity also allows you to work with experienced and leading lawyers in this field and build up your own career. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing employment related documentation, including contracts, handbook, policies and benefit schemes;
• Employment advisory work;
• Handling contentious employment matters including Labour Tribunal claims, discrimination/harassment disputes, personal data issues;
• Conducting employers' internal investigation;
• Handling cross border employment matters and immigration matters.

Requirements

• Strong passion in the fields of employment and immigration matters (both Hong Kong and PRC).
• Solicitors with at least 2 years post qualification experience from Hong Kong. Relevant experience in employment and immigration matters is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Proactive, ability to work under pressure with can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, willing to deal with people of different backgrounds.
