We are currently looking for a junior Employment Lawyer to join our China Employment team within the Corporate Commercial Group.
Responsibilities
As a junior Employment Lawyer, you will be part of a market leading group with colleagues from diversified academic backgrounds and life experiences. This exciting opportunity also allows you to work with experienced lawyers in this field and build up your own career. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaising with clients in different industries in particular Chinese enterprises and some multinational corporations;
- Gaining hands-on experience (both contentious and non-contentious) in local and cross-border employment and immigration law in PRC and HK.
Requirements
- Strong passion in the fields of employment and immigration matters (both PRC and Hong Kong).
- Solicitors with at least 2 years post qualification experience from Hong Kong. Relevant experience in employment and immigration matters is a strong plus.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English. Cantonese is advantageous but not essential.
- Proactive, ability to work under pressure with can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence, willing to deal with people of different backgrounds.
