About the Role

Are you passionate about seamless system connectivity, scalable architecture, and creating integration solutions that drive real business impact?

Our banking client is seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of enterprise-wide system integration, helping ensure business systems communicate securely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end integration of systems and services across business units.

  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture and compliance frameworks.

  • Collaborate with development teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver robust integration plans.

  • Design, build, and maintain APIs, message queues, and middleware configurations.

  • Ensure integration components meet business requirements, SLA targets, and risk controls.

  • Provide technical input on operational improvement, change initiatives, and system enhancements.


Requirements

  • 7-10 year's experience in systems integration, application architecture, or middleware engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of tools such as:

    • IBM MQ, DataPower, WebSphere, Oracle SOA Suite

    • Mulesoft, Boomi, Flowgear (advantageous)

  • Solid experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, TCP/IP, encryption, and secure messaging.

  • Experience working within financial services or highly regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with SDLC, ITIL, and governance principles.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Education & Certifications

  • A bachelor's degree or National Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • Relevant certifications in Integration Technologies, TOGAF, ITIL, or Mulesoft/Oracle SOA are preferred.
