Position: General Manager - IT

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager - IT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with a proven track record of success in leading and growing a team. The GM - IT will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT department, including strategy, operations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives

- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring that all systems and processes are running smoothly

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities

- Monitor and manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, and make recommendations for implementing new systems or processes

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers

- Ensure the security and integrity of all company data and systems

- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities

- Communicate IT updates and changes to the rest of the company in a clear and effective manner

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management

- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team

- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security

- Experience in budget management and strategic planning

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus
