SAP Principal Consultant (SAP BPC / S4HANA / SAC)

6-Month Contract | Hybrid | Sandton, Johannesburg

We are seeking an experienced SAP Principal Consultant to join a leading banking client on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled SAP professional with strong expertise in SAP BPC, SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to contribute to strategic finance and reporting initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will provide specialist SAP consulting, technical leadership, and solution delivery across multiple SAP projects while supporting and maintaining critical SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply specialist SAP expertise across multiple projects and support initiatives.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and solution approaches.
• Perform systems analysis, solution design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance of SAP solutions.
• Design and develop solutions using SAP BPC Standard and Embedded Models.
• Provide ongoing SAP BPC application support and incident management.
• Participate in standby and production support duties.
• Contribute to SAP architecture, technical solution design, and system integration initiatives.
• Develop and deploy solutions using approved deployment methodologies and tools.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members on emerging technologies, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Work within Agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
• SAP BPC 10.1 or 11.1 Certification

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years SAP Functional experience
• 3–5 years' experience working with SAP BPC Standard and Embedded environments
• 1–2 years' experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP Finance and Planning environments
• Strong exposure to Agile delivery methodologies
