FP&A Engagement Manager

Decision Inc. UK is looking for an Engagement Manager to join our FP&A team. Good communication, managerial and leadership skills are a must, and great technical understanding is advantageous. The position of forms part of Decision Inc. UKs management team and fulfils leadership roles across these core competencies: client leadership, people leadership and delivery effectiveness. There will be exposure to a wide range of industries, so the ability to quickly understand new business environments is essential.
Our FP&A team is responsible for delivering Planning and Consolidation system solutions in SAP, Tagetik, Board and Workday technologies and ideal candidates would have experience participating in and leading projects in these areas.

What Will You Do?
Client leadership
Cultivate strong relationships with clients while driving the commercial progress and impactful solutions. Be seen as a trusted partner with a rich understanding of clients' business environments.
- Active account management of allotted client base
- Engaging clients on new project work
- Assisting with RFP responses
- Scoping and preparation of project timelines & costings
Delivery Effectiveness
Lead T&M and fixed cost implementations within your clients, and effectively manage stakeholders, timelines, budgets and QA.
- Planning and scheduling of required resources
- Ensure timely project delivery within your clients
- Ensuring solution quality
People Leadership
Lead by example and play a key role in building team culture.
- Develop strong relationships within your team and maintain good morale
- Building of Development Plans for individual team members
- Drive team performance through structured performance review processes
- Ensuring the necessary skills and certifications of your team
- Administration of team (Leave, Technical Sessions, Event attendance, Time Sheets, etc.)
Who Do You Need To Be?
- Degree educated, Finance or IT education is beneficial.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a management role.
- Experience within Consulting Services environment.
- Knowledge of Financial Planning and/or Consolidation processes and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the expertise to deal with finance and IT stakeholders.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to finance stakeholders.
- Ability to successfully manage and maintain strong relationships with a team and clients.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Passionate and ambitious to deliver on the company's strategic plan.
