Your Role
As an Audit Manager, you'll play a key role in both delivery and leadership. You will:

Lead and manage audits for a varied portfolio of clients, planning and overseeing fieldwork in line with partner direction

Monitor progress against targets and resolve challenges proactively

Prepare and review financial statements for both audit and non-audit clients

Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor

Communicate technical matters clearly and practically to clients and colleagues

Coach and support junior staff in their development

Undertake technical research and share insights across the team

Contribute to departmental growth and assist with proposals for new business

Attend networking and business events locally to represent the firm

Travel to client sites across the region, with hybrid working arrangements available
About You
We're looking for someone who is confident in leading audits and enjoys being a hands-on manager. Ideally, you will have:

ACA or ACCA qualification (or be part-qualified with substantial experience)

Strong audit experience within accountancy practice

Experience mentoring, supervising, and reviewing the work of junior staff

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with clients and team members

The ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional, adaptable way

Good technical knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Familiarity with Caseware (advantageous but not essential)
