Your Impact

The Head of Insurance will lead the development and expansion of the company's insurance vertical, with a particular focus on medical malpractice insurance. This senior leader will build and oversee a new brokerage function, form strategic partnerships with insurers, and integrate the company's proprietary risk analytics platform into underwriting workflows.

This position requires a mix of entrepreneurial drive, insurtech expertise, and business development experience within the insurance or healthcare technology landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a new insurance brokerage arm focused on medical malpractice policies for existing healthcare clients.
  • Develop and lead strategic partnerships with medical malpractice insurance providers, embedding the company's AI-driven risk scoring system into their underwriting processes.
  • Drive business growth through innovative insurance product offerings and data-integrated risk solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery and adoption of insurance-related services.
  • Represent the company at industry events, fostering relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare and insurance sectors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sales, partnerships, or insurance leadership roles, preferably within insurtech, medical malpractice, or healthcare insurance.
  • Proven ability to build and scale new business lines or brokerage operations.
  • Strong understanding of insurance underwriting and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with C-level and enterprise partners.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related) preferred.
