Responsibilities and Duties:

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a service-based department committed to serving our most important asset its employees. To do this, the HR Manager must be willing to drop what theyre doing to assist employees with issues related to paid time off, benefits, pay, and other HR-related matters. The HR Manager is also responsible for the entire employee life-cycle, including:

  • Recruitment

  • Pre-employment tasks such as drug testing and background checks

  • New employee paperwork

  • Maintaining employee files

  • Orientation

  • Monitoring disciplinary actions and tracking attendance

  • Processing payroll

  • Organizing completed annual performance evaluations

  • Benefits administration

  • Terminating individuals from the HRIS and completing post-employment requirements..


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources is preferred, but other related fields of study with applicable experience will be considered.

  • Must have five (5) to eight (8) years experience as an HR administrator, during which time the individual was responsible for Coordinating the entire employment life-cycle.

  • Ability to maintain staffing levels through effective recruitment and sound hiring decisions.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all HR-related information is paramount.

  • Thorough understanding of ADP software is highly preferred.

  • Experience working with ApplicantPro or other applicant tracking software preferred.

  • Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
