About the job Legal Strategist
Role Description:
We are looking for a new team member to help mold a role and a department for our team. Created under the umbrella of a full-service advertising agency, this new division is focused on supporting litigation cases with a psychology-based approach. We use the intuitive nature of the human mind to help craft strategic legal approaches for high-profile cases. This role would develop into a lead strategist for a set of cases.
The role will work with an internal team of full-time and contract employees to support a long timeline of cases from discovery to market research to quantitative studies. Your vision and expertise will guide the legal strategy, including positioning, opening statement vocabulary, sequencing, and courtroom visuals.
Leading the team of project management, design, and research peers, you will ensure excellence and efficacy in the execution of its work. You will leverage your exceptional ability to lead and manage teams and facilitate consensus-based decision-making while working to communicate and coordinate strategy across departments. You will work to prioritize caseload based on capacity and in alignment with the teams vision and strategy. As departmental leader, you will steward professional development, support, and advocacy for the team.
Key Responsibilities:

· Lead team to accomplish goals against a timeline

Qualifications:
A psychology background, legal experience, or litigation experience is desired. The ability to command a room, collaborate towards desired outcomes, and provide new insights is required. Your ability to foster relationships with the various law firms is very important to the role. Experience in account direction or a position in senior leadership is needed.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with the potential for on-location work during the trial.
