Multimedia Content Manager

Our client seeks an experienced Content Manager to help lead the ideation and execution of native advertising campaigns for our clients. This is a highly creative, collaborative, and strategic role. Youll work closely with our clients, sales team, content team, and senior leadership to bring fresh, leading-edge consumer-oriented campaigns to life. Expert experience with social media, WordPress, and native advertising is required.

What will you do?

  • Partner closely with our Sales Team on client consultation and content planning.

  • Propose campaign ideas to clients that, based on previous performance and current trends, will perform well for our audience while meeting the clients goals.

  • Work collaboratively with our Content Team to produce and execute these campaigns.

  • Personally produce content as well as work hand in hand with other creators.

  • Content includes a wide range of campaigns including website articles, newsletters, social media campaigns, photography, video shorts, and more.

  • Stay on the leading edge of content evolution in social media, recommending additions and edits to our clientss client offerings and benchmarks for performance.

  • Monitor the progress of campaigns, implementing appropriate edits, as needed.

  • Deliver detailed content marketing analysis that includes meaningful and actionable insights around client content.

What skills & experience do you need?

  • B.S. in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or related.

  • 5+ years of consumer marketing with min. of 3+ years in content production (emphasis on social reels and copywriting)

  • 5+ years of managing and leading successful content teams.

  • Superb copywriting and editing experience and visual acuity for phone media.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.

  • Knowledge of social media best practices for each channel.

  • Proven experience growing and engaging audiences through impactful content marketing

  • Benchmarking with other successful campaigns and media/marketing outlets.

  • Expert at understanding/analyzing digital analytics and incorporating constant improvements to processes and best practices for the team.

  • Prefers to work in a fast-paced environment, not rattled by quick turnarounds or edits.

  • Emotional steadfastness. Knows how to react professionally in a wide range of situations.

  • Self-starter with experience and a strong desire to work in the digital/social media field.

  • Proven team leader. Enjoying the process of coaching and developing members.

  • Passion to support local Birmingham and throughout Alabama..

  • Skilled at giving timely, appropriate feedback while maintaining individual respect and building motivation in your team.

  • You are confident with clients and can present ideas with data and conviction but humble enough to accept criticism and edits.

  • A deep appreciation for storytelling and a desire to make an impact on the Greater Birmingham market and Alabama as a whole.

  • A collaborative, no-ego approach to work


Details:

  • Full-Time job located in Birmingham, AL

  • Reports to the CEO

  • Must be in office min 3 days/week.

  • Salary (commensurate with experience) + Bonus
