JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager plays a key leadership role in driving tactical marketing efforts across multiple areas including brand campaigns, performance marketing, PR, content, and creatives. This role oversees cross-functional execution of initiatives that directly impact brand awareness, consumer engagement, and GMV. The Marketing Manager is expected to make data-informed decisions, lead a dynamic team, and align closely with Operations, R&D, Finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure that marketing goals are met and exceeded.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Product Marketing

  • Lead and oversee the execution of brand campaigns across multiple channels
  • Manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) in collaboration with R&D, ensuring timelines, branding, and launch plans are met
  • Translate brand strategy into actionable plans aligned with marketing goals

Performance Marketing

  • Supervise performance marketers and advertisers to ensure ROI targets are consistently achieved
  • Strategically allocate marketing budgets across platforms such as TikTok, Lazada, Shopee, and Meta
  • Help optimize performance through data analysis and A/B testing

PR & Affiliates

  • Work with the team to maintain and grow affiliate marketing performance
  • Collaborate with external partners for press and media releases to strengthen brand visibility
  • Lead PR efforts including influencer campaigns, KOL collaborations, and UGC partnerships to boost brand awareness

Social Media & Content

  • Guide the social media and content team to develop a comprehensive content strategy covering all stages of the sales funnel
  • Ensure content narratives are aligned with brand voice, positioning, and campaign direction
  • Monitor and ensure timely execution of posting schedules across all platforms

Creative & Brand Cohesion

  • Provide overarching direction on branding to maintain cohesion across all creative assets
  • Ensure efficient coordination with the creative team for timely delivery of materials that support campaigns and brand efforts

Leadership, Strategy & Alignment

  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are aligned with priorities and timelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, and other departments to drive integrated marketing efforts
  • Use data analytics and market insights to inform strategic decisions and improve campaign effectiveness
  • Closely coordinate with Sales to ensure GMV targets are met and marketing efforts support business objectives
  • Own tactical planning and execution of marketing strategies to ensure departmental and brand-level KPIs are achieved

    QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

    Education

    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

    Experience

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in brand or marketing management, with at least 12 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of managing multi-channel campaigns and cross-functional teams in a consumer-focused business.

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in digital advertising platforms including, but not limited to Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopee & Lazada Ads
    • Strong familiarity with e-commerce platform seller centers (TikTok, Lazada, Shopee, etc.)
    • Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Google Analytics, Ads Manager, etc.
    • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Notion)
    • Comfortable with design collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Canva)
    • Knowledgeable with website tools (e.g., Shopify)

    Soft Skills:

    • Strategic thinker with excellent execution and problem-solving skills
    • Strong leadership, delegation, and team management abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
