Quality Services RTS Assistant (Part-time)

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Services RTS Assistant is responsible for supporting the Return to Seller (RTS) process by handling unpacking, sorting, and other non-quality control (non-QC) activities related to returned cosmetic products from customers or distributors. This role ensures that all returned items are properly received, documented, and prepared for inspection and disposition in accordance with company standards and GMP requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unpack and organize parcels of returned cosmetic products (RTS) for documentation and quality checking.
• Sort returned finished goods based on product type (e.g., serum, toner, etc.).
• Conduct basic physical and visual inspection of returned goods.
• Record and maintain daily output documentation.
• Prepare and submit RTS inspection reports to the QS Team Leader and QS Manager for internal evaluation.
• Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and storage of RTS materials pending disposition.
• Comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• Senior High school diploma or equivalent is required
• An associate degree or certification in a science or quality-related field is a plus

EXPERIENCE

• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), product testing procedures, batch record review, and inspection protocols are advantageous

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Ability to follow and interpret written procedures and protocols accurately.
• Competent in accurate and timely documentation of inspection results.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel/Word, or ability to learn quality tracking software.
• Ability to spot inconsistencies, defects, or deviations from standards during inspections.
• Effective time management; able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• High-performing probationary RTS QS staff may be considered for regularization.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections for extended periods.
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and will be provided by the company as necessary.
• Work is performed in an inspection room or warehouse environment.
• Occasional lifting of boxes or handling of bulk returns.
