Job Title: Quality Assurance Intern
Department: Quality Services

Reports To: QS Manager
JOB SUMMARY
A Quality Service Intern focuses on ensuring products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods. Interns will perform inspections, tests, and document findings to ensure compliance with industry standards. They may also assist with process improvement and quality assurance efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspecting and Testing
Conducting inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify they meet quality specifications. - Product sampling and testing
Preparing and testing samples of bulk products, finished goods, and packaging components to assess quality. - Documentation
Creating and maintaining accurate and compliant documentation for testing results, raw materials, and finished goods. - Performance of routine quality check
Performing routine inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process. - Data Tracking
Assisting in tracking and analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Services (QS) Management to support overall product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Assist in special projects or improvement initiatives as directed.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or any related field
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Basic knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory practices
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Enthusiastic about skincare and cosmetics, with genuine interest in product innovation
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
- Opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple production stages including compounding, filling, labeling, and packing in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, and regulatory compliance, providing a strong foundation for future roles in QA, QC, or production.
- High-performing temporary QA Inspectors may be considered extended assignments based on performance and business needs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections for extended periods
- Ability to work in both compounding and packaging areas, which may involve exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and chemicals
- Use of PPE is required and provided by the company
