JOB SUMMARY

The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure the timely and accurate completion of production targets. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, workplace safety, and operational efficiency within a controlled manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a production team. This position is site-based and essential to the consistent delivery of high-quality skincare products that meet company and
industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates machinery and assembles products as per specifications

  • Operate production equipment following established procedures and quality guidelines.
  • Set up machinery correctly, monitor operations, make necessary adjustments, and complete assembly tasks with precision to meet quality standards.

Ensures daily production targets are met while following safety standards

  • Meet production goals and deadlines while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Use appropriate protective equipment, follow safety procedures, and maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure both productivity and workplace safety.

Reports equipment malfunctions and participates in training

  • Monitor equipment condition and promptly report any issues to production supervisor.
  • Participate in training opportunities to develop skills, learn new processes, and stay current with industry standards to support operational excellence.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • At least High School Graduate.
  • Additional certifications related to manufacturing or factory operations (e.g., TESDA NC II, GMP, 5S, etc.) are a plus.

Experience:

  • At least 6 months experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
  • Background in skincare, cosmetics, or FMCG production is an advantage.

  • Equipment Operation Ability to operate production machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Control Basic knowledge of product quality checks and standards.
  • Technical Knowledge Familiarity with manufacturing processes, tools, and materials.
  • Workplace Safety & Risk Awareness Understands and follows safety procedures to prevent accidents.
  • Process Improvement Open to continuous improvement initiatives like 5S or Kaizen.
  • Communication Can understand instructions and coordinate with team members.
  • Teamwork Works well in a collaborative production setting.
    Problem-Solving Able to identify issues and assist in troubleshooting during production.
  • Time Management Meets daily output targets and maintains production schedules.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Setup

  • Work is conducted on-site at the manufacturing facility, typically in a controlled production area where hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards are strictly followed.
  • Operators are expected to work on a shifting schedule, including possible night shifts, weekends, or holidays, depending on production demands.
  • This role is fully site-based; no travel is required unless assigned for training or special projects at other facilities.

Unique Work Conditions

  • Employees are required to wear protective gear (e.g., lab gowns, gloves, hairnets, face masks) at all times within the production area to ensure product safety and avoid contamination.
  • The work environment may involve standing for long periods, repetitive movements, and handling raw materials or chemicals used in skincare production.
  • Operators are expected to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and strict sanitation protocols at all times.
  • Temperature-controlled areas may be present, depending on the products or ingredients being handled.
  • Staff must maintain a high level of attention to detail, cleanliness, and discipline to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Teamwork and coordination are key, as operators work closely with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Inventory.
