JOB SUMMARY
The Content Lead will be responsible for overseeing the content strategy across multiple platforms, with a strong focus on social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This role will ensure that all content aligns with the brands vision and marketing campaigns while driving engagement and brand awareness. The Content Lead will also be responsible for developing creative briefs and collaborating with the creatives team to deliver visually compelling content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Calendar Planning:
- Develop and manage a monthly content calendar for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok) that aligns with the brand's vision, voice, and overall marketing campaigns.
- Ensure timely and consistent content planning that supports the companys marketing objectives.
- Coordinate the content schedule across all channels, ensuring planned posts are timely, on-brand, and aligned with broader campaigns.
Social Media Management & Scheduling:
- Manage day-to-day operations of social media pages, including scheduling and publishing content on Instagram and Facebook.
- Oversee post formatting, tagging, and consistency to maintain a polished, professional social media presence.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure scheduled posts reflect the approved content calendar and strategy.
Content Strategy for TikTok:
- Develop and guide a creative content strategy specifically for TikTok to boost engagement, brand awareness, and community growth.
- Stay on top of platform trends, challenges, and audience behavior to inform strategy direction.
- Work with content creators and the creative team to bring strategy to life through original, trend-driven videos.
Collaboration on Copy & Content Creation:
- Collaborate with a copywriter to produce compelling, creative, and on-brand messaging for social media platforms.
- Ensure copy aligns with the brand voice and content goals, while adapting to the nuances of each platform.
- Support the development of captions, hashtags, and calls to action that drive engagement and reinforce messaging.
Creative Briefs Development:
- Develop clear and concise creative briefs for artwork, graphics, and multimedia assets needed for social content.
- Ensure briefs effectively communicate the strategy and vision to the creative team and content creators.
- Align creative production timelines with the content calendar.
Collaboration with Creatives and Content Team:
- Work closely with multimedia artists, graphic artists, and content creators to ensure execution of the strategy is aligned with brand standards.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure content is visually cohesive, fresh, and aligned with campaign goals.
- Maintain ongoing communication with creatives team to support efficient production workflows.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, etc.) to evaluate content effectiveness.
- Provide regular performance insights and identify opportunities for content improvement and optimization.
- Refine strategy based on data-driven learnings, audience trends, and platform shifts.
Campaign Support:
- Support the integration of social media content into larger marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure social content aligns with overall marketing efforts and timelines.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, Advertising, or any related field.
Experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, social media management or any related field
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Skilled in building and managing content calendars across multiple channels
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience behavior
- Experience analyzing social media performance metrics to guide strategy
- Ability to develop clear, actionable creative briefs for designers and content creators
