JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, receiving, storage, dispatch, and logistics coordination. The role ensures efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and timely delivery of products while managing warehouse staff and warehouse resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Management

  • Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch activities.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely processing and delivery of products.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve operational efficiency.

Inventory Management & Control

  • Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain proper stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise warehouse personnel, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and other departments for operational alignment.

Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards within warehouse operations.
  • Monitor warehouse expenses and implement cost-control measures.
  • Prepare operational reports, warehouse performance metrics, and process improvement initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and efficiency.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
  • Experience handling warehouse personnel and operational processes is preferred.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
