JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Execution Lead owns end-to-end field execution, store operations, and sales performance across both Watsons (modern trade) and kiosk channels.

This role ensures that all locations are properly staffed, operational, compliant, and consistently delivering sales results. The Retail Execution Lead translates commercial plans, campaigns, and sales priorities into strong in-store execution, ensuring visibility, availability, and frontline alignment.

As the direct manager of Beauty Advisors and field teams, this role is accountable for what happens in-store, driving execution excellence, resolving operational issues, and ensuring consistent retail performance across all locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Execution & Store Performance Ownership

  • Own store-level sales performance across Watsons and kiosks
  • Ensure all locations are fully operational, staffed, and sales-ready
  • Monitor performance and take immediate action on gaps
  • Drive consistency in execution across all retail touchpoints

Beauty Advisor Management & Field Operations

  • Directly manage Beauty Advisors across Watsons and kiosks
  • Own BA scheduling, deployment, and attendance monitoring
  • Ensure proper manpower allocation based on store needs and priorities
  • Handle BA concerns, documentation, and issue resolution
  • Enforce accountability, discipline, and performance standards

Store Execution, Visual Merchandising & Compliance

  • Own in-store execution including:
  • Planogram and display compliance
  • Visual merchandising and shelf presentation
  • Tester availability and cleanliness
  • Pricing and promotional visibility
  • Ensure alignment with Watsons standards and kiosk brand guidelines
  • Conduct spot checks and validations to ensure compliance

Promotion, Campaign & Launch Execution

  • Lead on-ground rollout of promotions, campaigns, and new product launches
  • Ensure correct implementation of:
  • Promo mechanics
  • Pricing and bundles
  • POS materials and displays
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Retail Operations for readiness
  • Validate execution quality during campaign periods

Stock & Operational Issue Management

  • Monitor stock availability across stores and kiosks
  • Escalate OOS risks and coordinate with Sales Ops / SCM
  • Resolve store-level operational issues affecting sales
  • Ensure minimal disruption to daily store operations

Field Audits & Store Visits (Role Owner)

  • Plan and execute regular field visits across Watsons and kiosks
  • Conduct audits covering:
  • Execution compliance
  • Stock availability
  • BA presence and readiness
  • Identify execution gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure follow-through of action items

Sales Performance Execution & Target Achievement

  • Translate sales targets and priorities into store-level execution plans
  • Cascade targets, campaign priorities, and execution standards to BAs
  • Identify underperforming stores and implement corrective actions
  • Drive execution initiatives to close sales gaps

Performance Validation & Feedback Loop

  • Validate store execution against performance data from Sales Ops and Management
  • Surface field insights including:
  • Execution gaps
  • Customer behavior
  • Competitor activity
  • Provide structured feedback to Sales Manager for decision-making
  • Ensure follow-through of action plans at store level

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with:
  • Sales Operations → stock, reports, promo setup
  • Retail Operations → inventory movement and logistics
  • Retail Experience Specialist → BA capability and coaching
  • Ensure alignment across teams to resolve execution gaps

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field

Experience

  • 2–5 years experience in Modern Trade execution, trade marketing, field supervision, or retail operations
  • Experience handling Watsons or similar Modern Trade accounts is a strong advantage
  • Background in beauty, FMCG, or specialty retail preferred
