JOB SUMMARY

The Demand Planner at Dermorepubliq Corporation is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to support efficient production planning, inventory management, and customer fulfillment across the company’s skincare manufacturing and distribution operations. This role plays a critical part in balancing customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.

Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Procurement, the Demand Planner translates market insights, historical data, and promotional plans into actionable demand forecasts. This position supports Dermorepubliq’s commitment to operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalable growth in the highly dynamic beauty and skincare industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Demand Forecasting & Planning

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts at SKU, product line, and channel levels using historical data, trends, and business inputs.
  • Analyze sales patterns, seasonality, product life cycles, and promotional activities to generate accurate short-, mid-, and long-term demand plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate new product launches, promotions, and campaigns into demand forecasts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Production Planning and Manufacturing teams to align demand plans with production capacity and lead times.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Inventory teams to ensure raw materials and finished goods availability aligns with forecasted demand.
  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings to align demand, supply, and financial plans.

Inventory Optimization

  • Support inventory planning initiatives to maintain optimal stock levels across warehouses and distribution channels.
  • Identify risks related to overstock, stock-outs, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory KPIs, such as forecast bias, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Support management and cross-functional teams by preparing and maintaining demand planning reports and dashboards, in collaboration with the Business Intelligence (BI) Team, to provide clear visibility on risks, opportunities, and key demand trends.
  • Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing optimization of demand forecasting software and ERP planning modules, ensuring data structures, parameters, and planning logic are accurately maintained and aligned with business requirements.
  • Ensure demand planning data in ERP or planning systems is accurate, complete, and up to date by performing regular data checks, validations, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Support system enhancements, data standardization, and planning best practices as the organization scales.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for demand planning activities.

    QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
    • Equivalent experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis may be considered.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or related analytical roles.
    • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, beauty, or skincare industries is highly preferred.
    • Exposure to S&OP/IBP processes and inventory planning is an advantage.
    • Experience setting up forecasting processes and SOPs.
    • Hands-on experience with forecasting software (SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, etc.
    • Strong e-commerce forecasting background.

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable plans.
    • Proficiency in demand planning tools, ERP systems, or forecasting software.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of supply chain concepts, inventory management, and production planning.

    • Occasional on-site presence at manufacturing or warehouse locations (e.g., Antipolo site) may be required to support planning alignment, data validation, and operational reviews.
    • The Demand Planner will work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, balancing multiple timelines, product categories, and planning cycles.
    • Standard business hours apply, with flexibility required during peak planning periods such as new product launches, promotions, or month-end and S&OP cycles.
    • The role requires prolonged screen time and regular use of ERP systems, forecasting tools, and reporting platforms.
