JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Staff (OJT) will support the Finance and Accounting Department in performing basic bookkeeping, documentation, and administrative tasks. The trainee will assist in recording transactions, organizing financial documents, preparing simple reports, and supporting daily accounting operations. This role provides hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment, helping the trainee develop practical skills in financial record-keeping, data management, and internal processes while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record and update daily financial transactions in accounting systems or spreadsheets.
  • Review, organize, and file accounting documents such as invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Assist in processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Conduct basic bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare financial summaries, statements, and reports as directed.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding financial documentation and requests.
  • Support audit preparation by providing necessary documents and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company data privacy policies.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or currently pursuing for OJT).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic.

EXPERTISE/SPECIALIZATION

  • Document Handling & Filing: Skilled in maintaining accurate, organized, and secure filing systems for financial documents.
  • Bank & Treasury Support: Familiar with common banking transactions and treasury operations.
  • Time Management: Efficient in managing multiple tasks and ensuring timely completion of errands.
  • Administrative Support: Competent in document tracking, logging, and record organization.
  • Confidentiality & Integrity: Maintains a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive data.
