At Destination Workplace, we believe everyone deserves to thrive in a workplace that inspires growth, purpose, and collaboration.
That's why we're partnering with a dynamic international industrial group to find SAP Functional Consultants to join their growing team in Sofia. These roles are critical to supporting a major international business separation and a subsequent large-scale migration to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless operational continuity and long-term system efficiency.
About the Role:
As an SAP Functional Consultant, you will deliver functional design, configuration, and operational support within your specialized stream (Logistics, Procurement, or Finance). Initially, you will focus on the "Day-One" separation activities to decouple the current SAP system, followed by preparing the technical and functional landscape for a global S/4HANA migration.
We are looking for experts in the following areas:
- Logistics: SD, PP, WM, LE modules.
- Procurement: MM and Sourcing modules.
- Finance: FI/CO, Record-to-Report, and Treasury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA within your functional area;
- Lead requirement gathering, process design, build, testing, and cut-over activities;
- Support critical separation/Day-One blueprints and migration workstreams;
- Troubleshoot system incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and provide "in-house" functional support;
- Collaborate with global architects and stakeholders to ensure system independence;
- On-site travel: Willingness to travel to the Netherlands and/or Germany (up to 2 weeks for the whole 3-month transition phase).
Who We're Looking For:
- Degree in IT, Engineering, Finance, or a related Business field;
- 5–10 years of SAP consulting experience in your respective functional area (Logistics, MM, or FI/CO);
- Proven experience in full-cycle projects, system separations, or S/4HANA transitions;
- Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving organizational structure ("moving" environment);
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system optimization;
- Professional English (mandatory); German is a plus;
- High level of mobility and willingness to travel for on-site knowledge transfer.
What's on Offer:
- Competitive salary package aligned with current market trends;
- The opportunity to transition from external consulting to a high-impact internal expert role;
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working options;
- Health insurance and additional benefits;
- A central role in a prestigious global S/4HANA migration project;
- Modern office facilities and a supportive, international team culture.
