SAP Functional Consultant

That's why we're partnering with a dynamic international industrial group to find SAP Functional Consultants to join their growing team in Sofia. These roles are critical to supporting a major international business separation and a subsequent large-scale migration to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless operational continuity and long-term system efficiency.

About the Role:

As an SAP Functional Consultant, you will deliver functional design, configuration, and operational support in one of these areas:

• PP/QM: Production Planning and Quality Management
• PM/MM: Plant Maintenance and Materials Management

You'll initially focus on Day-One separation activities to decouple the current SAP system, then help prepare the technical and functional landscape for a global S/4HANA migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA within your area of expertise.
• Lead requirements gathering, process design, build, testing, and cutover activities.
• Support separation and Day-One blueprints and migration workstreams.
• Troubleshoot system incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and provide in-house functional support.
• Collaborate with global architects and stakeholders to help establish an independent system landscape.
• Travel to the Netherlands and/or Germany for on-site knowledge transfer - up to two weeks during the three-month transition phase.

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of SAP consulting experience in PP/QM or PM/MM.
• Experience with full-cycle projects, system separations, or S/4HANA transitions.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving organizational environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on system optimization.
• Professional English; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for on-site knowledge transfer.
