Our partner is a major investor with a diverse portfolio in the construction, hospitality, commercial, and residential real estate sectors. To expand their team, we are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage multi-company accounting.

Chief Accountant

Responsibilities of the role:

• Organizing the accounting and reporting activities of the client companies;
• Recording business transactions (receivables, payables, fixed assets, production, and inventory);
• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and tax returns;
• Accounting for acquisitions, investments, and dividends;
• Recording new lease agreements, revaluations upon termination, and reporting insurance claims;
• Conducting analyses of the companies' operations.

Desired skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial Control;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position;
• Proven experience in accounting, journalizing, and working with analytical accounts;
• Excellent knowledge of tax and social security legislation (including the Corporate Income Tax Act);
• Very good computer skills - MS Excel and specialized accounting software.
