To lead their innovation strategy and ensure efficient product development, they are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of R&D. 

In this role, you will lead the development of products from concept to execution, managing all technology, formulations, and quality, while reporting directly to the Head of the Business Unit.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Manage and develop the research, product concepts, and formulations for new and existing portfolios;
• Lead the entire development cycle - concept creation, laboratory trials, pilot testing, SOP preparation, and industrial scale-up;
• Ensure absolute compliance with local and international safety regulations;
• Prepare product costings and optimize them through alternative raw materials and formulation improvements;
• Mentor and motivate a dedicated team of R&D specialists and laboratory technicians;
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Production, and Purchasing teams to identify market opportunities and resolve technical challenges.

Desired skills and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development within Home or Personal Care categories;
• At least 3–5 years of successful background in people management and team leadership;
• Strong knowledge of formulation chemistry (surfactants, emulsions, fragrances, actives);
• Solid analytical skills and process-optimization thinking;
• Fluent command of English (both written and spoken);
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
