The Role: Play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our business partner in the CEE Region by spearheading the development and implementation of local Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) instructions. Proactively identifying risk areas and collaborating with various functions such as Development, M&A, Construction, and Operations, you will contribute to the implementation of effective mitigation measures. Conducting site inspections, ESG due diligence audits, and leading reporting on ESG performance indicators will be integral to your role. Furthermore, you will champion a positive ESG culture through training initiatives for operational and office staff in the region, ensuring alignment with the highest market standards.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role should possess a BSc or higher degree in Health and Safety/Sustainability/Renewable Energy, along with a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent. With a minimum of 3 years experience in related roles, candidates should demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems, incident investigation, and risk evaluation. Familiarity with ISO 45001/14001 and international ESG reporting standards, such as IFC, GRI, EBRD, is advantageous. Strong knowledge of local/regional HSE legislation, fluency in English, and proficiency in tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Office are essential.
