For their internal needs, we are seeking a Strategic Purchasing Lead to act as an essential link between creative product development and large-scale market delivery. You will lead technical procurement efforts, working with cross-functional teams to turn experimental food concepts into profitable, retail-ready products.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role:

• Identify and partner with global vendors to acquire the cutting-edge materials and machinery required to transform R&D ideas into products.
• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle of new products to ensure they are profitable, scalable, and true to the brand's identity.
• Manage intricate commercial discussions to finalize advantageous pricing, contracts, and terms for technical components.
• Nurture a high-quality international supplier base through consistent performance monitoring and rigorous quality checks.
• Execute cost-reduction initiatives and address supply chain vulnerabilities while upholding the highest food safety and legal standards.
• Facilitate communication between R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to streamline the launch of products worldwide.

Desired skills and experience:

• University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in strategic procurement, ideally within the Food, FMCG, or Packaging industries.
• Advanced ability to manage complex commercial contracts and build long-term international relationships.
• Disciplined approach to managing multiple innovation projects with strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel is essential).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Valid driving license, desire to travel.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit comfortable with building a new function within a fast-paced environment.
