Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern

DevDimensions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SQA Intern to join our dynamic team and support the quality assurance process by testing software applications and ensuring seamless user experiences.

What You'll Do

• Review requirements and understand new feature development before testing begins
• Design, implement, and execute test cases for web and API features
• Perform manual functional, regression, and UI testing
• Log, track, and follow up on bugs using Jira or similar tools
• Contribute to test automation using Selenium/Cypress
• Participate in agile ceremonies standups, sprint planning, retrospectives
• Document and maintain test cases, test plans, and validation reports
• Communicate defects and quality findings clearly to the engineering team

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of any scripting language (Python or JavaScript preferred)
• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile team
