We require a building supervisor, coming from a project home background to look after residential builds for a high end spec home Developer / Builder.   Reporting to the General Manager is an autonomous role for a self-motivated and organised building supervisor with a background in volume housing.  We are looking for someone who has a strong local trade base and good communication skills.  We are particularly interesting in someone that has a good history of managing good finishes. We ideally want someone who has both custom and project home experience. As these are spec homes, there will be no variations or clients.

This role will be based on site.

Responsibility includes:

• Sourcing quality local trades
• Working with local authorities, engineers, and inspectors to ensure compliance
• Raising purchase orders and ensuring the costs are recorded and controlled
• Scheduling
• Reporting back to senior management any issues
• OHS and Environment with emphasis on erosion and sediment control

To be successful in the role you will require

• Experience working for a residential builder in SEQ.
• Excellent references
• Preferably a trade background
• A track record with local jobs
• Good understanding of the Building Code for QLD
• Working knowledge of OHS
• Computer literacy skills
