About the job Site Manager
We are looking for a site manager for a Medium Density Project in Rochedale. Working with the onsite PM and CA.
Responsibility includes:
- Day-to-day running of the site.
- Engaging, vetting and managing subcontractors
- Ensuring that the site is run to the highest level of safety
- Liaising with the Project Manager, ensure that costs are controlled through good site management
- Ensuring good relationships with established neighbours.
- Reducing risk by ensuring that traffic management and pedestrian management plans are in place and adhered to, and all records are in place.
- Ensuring all regulations are adhered to.
- Ensure the quality of the job meets the standards expected
- Provide up-to-date reporting on all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in residential construction, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in the local Gold Coast industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite including MS Project.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is helpful.
The full time role is paying $160K + Super
