Site Manager

We are looking for a site manager for a Medium Density Project in Rochedale.  Working with the onsite PM and CA.  

Responsibility includes: 

• Day-to-day running of the site.
• Engaging, vetting and managing subcontractors
• Ensuring that the site is run to the highest level of safety
• Liaising with the Project Manager, ensure that costs are controlled through good site management
• Ensuring good relationships with established neighbours. 
• Reducing risk by ensuring that traffic management and pedestrian management plans are in place and adhered to, and all records are in place.
• Ensuring all regulations are adhered to. 
• Ensure the quality of the job meets the standards expected
• Provide up-to-date reporting on all aspects of the job. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in residential construction, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in the local Gold Coast industry. 
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite including MS Project. 
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is helpful. 

The full time role is paying $160K + Super
