About the job Group Product Manager - ACH
Our client is seeking a Product Group Manager to lead the strategic direction and performance of the Enterprise Payments ACH product group. This role is responsible for aligning product strategy with broader corporate objectives while overseeing the product lifecycle, profitability, and market positioning of ACH solutions. The Product Group Manager works cross functionally with internal teams to guide product development, support marketing initiatives, and ensure regulatory alignment. The role also maintains strong engagement with internal stakeholders and clients to inform product strategy and enhancements. Success requires strong analytical capabilities, payments expertise, and the ability to manage complex product initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement the strategic direction for the Enterprise Payments ACH product group in alignment with corporate strategy.
- Oversee internal oversight reviews and coordinate the resolution of corrective actions when required.
- Partner with cross functional teams to manage products through the full product lifecycle.
- Maintain knowledge of Nacha rules and relevant regulatory requirements impacting ACH products.
- Support system integrations and understand file formats and API concepts relevant to payments platforms.
- Identify priorities for product development, product modifications, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
- Develop and implement marketing and communication programs that promote products and support bank officers.
- Maintain relationships with clients, sales teams, marketing partners, product managers, and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage the product group's profitability and quality standards.
- Provide leadership to marketing, sales, product development, administrative, or technical staff when applicable.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- 7 or more years of product management experience.
- Understanding of ACH payments and related regulatory frameworks including Nacha rules.
- Conceptual understanding of APIs, system integrations, and payment file formats.
- Exposure to payments, fintech, or ERP systems.
- Certified Treasury Professional or Accredited ACH Professional certification preferred.
- Experience with consumer lending, overdraft income management, or credit risk preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities including data mining, data manipulation, and forecasting.
- Financial management experience and the ability to translate data into strategic plans.
- Experience with project planning and managing multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written, verbal, and executive level presentation skills.
