The Merchant Services Inside Sales Advisor is responsible for generating and expanding client relationships by providing practical payment solutions and recommendations for small businesses with annual sales between $0 and $3 million. This role partners closely with branch teams to identify new sales opportunities, coach staff, and strengthen referral and calling efforts. You will manage leads, make presentations, close sales, and maintain consistent communication with internal partners.

This position is based in-office in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

What You Will Do

  • Prospect and build new client relationships, converting leads into long-term partnerships
  • Sell payment solutions including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, check processing, gift cards, and ACH
  • Manage pipeline activity, track progress in the CRM, and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify cross-sell opportunities and increase client profitability
  • Coach and motivate branch staff to drive merchant education and sales growth
  • Deliver presentations and attend leadership meetings to align on performance goals and strategy
  • Resolve client issues efficiently and strengthen relationships through professional service
  • Use reports and dashboards to track performance and identify sales trends
  • Leverage product knowledge and internal partnerships to expand referral opportunities

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of inside sales or sales experience in financial services with proven success in closing deals and meeting goals
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience selling to small businesses with annual revenue under $3 million
  • Background in merchant services or payment processing preferred
  • Skilled in virtual and phone-based sales environments
  • Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset and professional presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to travel locally for meetings and branch support
