The Leader of FP&A owns financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across the organization, with direct exposure to executive leadership and investors.

What you will do

  • Own annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long range financial planning across a high growth payments business.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models tied to transaction economics, pricing structures, partner revenue, portfolio mix, and margin performance.
  • Develop scenario analysis around growth rates, pricing adjustments, churn, volume shifts, and card mix changes.
  • Deliver monthly management reporting, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and portfolio level insights for executive review.
  • Consolidate and reconcile financial and operational data from multiple external partners and internal systems.
  • Track portfolio performance metrics including volume trends, attrition, pricing yield, partner margins, and contribution economics.
  • Partner closely with sales, operations, risk, product, and technology leaders to support planning and decision making.
  • Prepare materials for board meetings, investors, and lenders in partnership with the CFO and CEO.
  • Support risk and underwriting teams through modeling of reserves, losses, chargebacks, and exposure.
  • Improve FP&A processes through automation, improved tooling, and scalable reporting frameworks as the business grows.

What you bring

  • 7-10 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance roles.
  • At least five years of experience within payments or card based financial services, including exposure to transaction level economics.
  • Strong understanding of payment revenue and cost drivers such as interchange, network assessments, processing costs, partner revenue structures, pricing yield, and portfolio margins.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills.
  • Experience presenting complex financial insights to executive leadership and non financial stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience partnering across functions and supporting senior decision makers.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with BI or financial reporting tools.
  • Bachelors degree required.
