About the job Sr. Marketing Account Manager
Our client, a publicly traded technology company that delivers integrated software, hardware, and payment solutions that power commerce, is seeking a Sr. Marketing Account Manager to lead and scale its Marketing Account Management function. This role is responsible for overseeing team performance, driving strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring high quality execution across a portfolio of client accounts. The Sr. Marketing Account Manager will shape scalable processes, mentor team members, and identify opportunities that increase client retention and long term value. Reporting to the Managing Director, this individual plays a central role in strengthening account growth, operational excellence, and overall client satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and directly manage the Marketing Account Management team to ensure consistent, high quality execution of client marketing strategies.
- Monitor and synthesize customer needs and industry insights to identify growth opportunities that drive retention, expansion, and long term client value.
- Maintain quality control of new website developments and ensure deliverables meet established standards.
- Conduct research on new systems, processes, and products to enhance client experience and improve workflow efficiency.
- Provide recommendations to leadership and facilitate bi annual discussions on emerging marketing trends and technologies.
- Lead the maintenance and ongoing evolution of the Account Management playbook and drive effective team training and adoption.
- Coach and develop team members to meet performance expectations, deliver on client timelines, and effectively manage new services, processes, and marketing trends.
- Oversee onboarding and training of new hires within the Account Management team.
- Support client escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Own a portfolio of client accounts and execute all associated deliverables.
- Participate in weekly Agile meetings, onboarding sessions, and cross functional roundtables as needed.
- Contribute to annual performance reviews and participate in the hiring process.
What You Bring
- 7-10 years of experience in marketing and account management.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- Experience working with multi channel digital marketing programs.
- Strong client facing and executive communication skills.
