Our client is a payments technology provider serving businesses across a range of commerce environments. The company is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth within the unattended payments and self service commerce market. This role will develop opportunities and strategic relationships with operators, technology providers, payment partners, integrators, OEMs, and self service solution providers. The Account Executive will manage complex sales cycles, present payment solutions, negotiate agreements, and expand market share across unattended commerce environments.
What You Will Do:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across unattended payments and self service commerce markets.
- Create and execute territory and account plans that support revenue growth and market expansion.
- Build strategic relationships with operators, technology providers, payment partners, integrators, OEMs, and self service solution providers.
- Generate opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, industry associations, trade shows, conferences, and other business development activities.
- Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and solution discussions that communicate the value of the company's payment products and services.
- Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and business cases, and lead contract negotiations to secure new business.
- Maintain accurate opportunity records, pipeline activity, and sales forecasts within the CRM system.
- Partner with Product Management, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Support, and Operations to support customer onboarding and long term account growth.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
- Consistently achieve or exceed established sales quotas, revenue goals, and performance objectives.
What You Bring:
- At least five years of successful B2B sales experience in unattended payments, fintech, SaaS, or point of sale hardware.
- A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue objectives.
- Experience developing new business, prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating agreements, and closing opportunities.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales forecasting tools.
- Strong communication, relationship building, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 30 percent for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Experience in payments, fintech, unattended commerce, self service technology, vending, parking, EV charging, kiosks, or automated retail.
- Existing relationships within the unattended commerce ecosystem.
- Experience working with payment processors, acquirers, payment facilitators, technology partners, OEMs, integrators, or large unattended operators.
- Knowledge of payment acceptance technologies, EMV, contactless payments, mobile payments, and related industry trends.
