The Product Manager for Payment Gateways and Partnerships leads a team of product and partnership professionals responsible for relationships and integrations that drive growth through strategic reseller and gateway partnerships. The team works with solutions such as Authorize.Net, Cybersource, Chargezoom, Paymaple, FreedomPay, and others. Success requires leadership, technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to execute partnership strategies that deliver measurable revenue results.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and develop a small team of product and partnership professionals, providing clear direction and measurable goals.
- Develop and expand growth through reseller partnerships, establishing new relationships and strengthening existing ones to increase processing volume and revenue.
- Manage and deepen relationships with payment gateways and fintech providers, so in order for seamless integration and alignment on shared goals.
- Work directly with payment gateway APIs, resolve technical challenges, and use data to guide product and partnership decisions.
- Define and execute commercial strategies for gateway and reseller partnerships, including pricing models, revenue-sharing structures, and margin analysis.
- Identify and evaluate vertical software partners aligned with business objectives, negotiating and finalizing partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with partners on joint go-to-market initiatives, integrations, and sales enablement programs to accelerate adoption.
- Lead partner onboarding, providing documentation, training, and support for successful implementation.
- Partner with marketing to create product and partnership content that communicates value and differentiation.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in Payments Product Management
- Demonstrated success building and expanding reseller and gateway partnerships
- Strong technical background with hands-on understanding of APIs and integration workflows
- Experience managing a team
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience defining and executing commercial strategies with fintech and payment partners
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities
