Our client is seeking a senior sales professional to drive new business growth within the merchant payment processing space by selling complex omnichannel and ecommerce digital payment solutions to enterprise size merchants. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with senior leaders and positioning integrated payment technologies that support large scale commerce across online, mobile, and in person channels. The position serves as a product specialist across the acquiring platform, supporting complex enterprise and midmarket merchant opportunities and contributing expertise throughout the sales process. Success requires a strong track record of complex solution sales, enterprise merchant engagement, and experience navigating sophisticated payment integrations.

What You Will Do

  • Drive sales of omnichannel and ecommerce digital payment solutions within the merchant payment processing market, targeting enterprise size merchant organizations.
  • Serve as a product specialist across the acquiring solutions portfolio and provide expertise during complex payment sales opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain senior level relationships with decision makers to acquire new clients and expand cross sell opportunities.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to maximize revenue and margin growth across enterprise merchant accounts.
  • Manage multiple complex opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle through negotiation and contract execution.
  • Create comprehensive client proposals that include solution design, financial justification, growth plans, budgets, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Participate in complex merchant evaluations involving multiple payment products, integrations, and omnichannel capabilities.
  • Collaborate with account management, relationship managers, solution consultants, and implementation teams to deliver a seamless client experience and support expansion within existing merchant portfolios.
  • Support sales of unified ecommerce gateway and payment facilitation solutions designed for platforms, marketplaces, and software providers.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure profitable, long term agreements.


What You Bring

  • 6+ years of successful new business generation and complex solution selling experience within the merchant payment processing industry.
  • Proven experience selling payment, technology, or software solutions to enterprise size merchant organizations.
  • Experience selling or supporting complex payment products such as ecommerce gateways, omnichannel payment platforms, or payment facilitation solutions.
  • Experience supporting complex payment opportunities that involve multiple products, integrations, and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in virtual team environments and coordinating cross functional resources.
  • Experience navigating matrix organizations and leading client focused initiatives.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and applying knowledge of industry processes and compliance regulations.
