About the job Payment Specialist
The Payment Specialist will oversee all payments-related operations and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue from both new and existing customers (merchants). This role involves close collaboration with sales and support teams to ensure customers are supported with their payment processing needs throughout the entire client lifecycle.
What You Will Do:
- Educate prospective customers on processing rates and structures while working closely with Account Executives to enhance the sales process and create a cohesive shopping experience.
- Guide new customers through implementation, including the merchant underwriting process with the partner processor.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all payments-related inquiries, building strong relationships with existing customers.
- Develop a deep understanding of different pricing strategies for payments-related revenue streams.
- Maintain a detailed prospect database and track sales activity history using Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to manage ongoing account plans, adapt to changing needs, and minimize customer attrition.

- Experience in payment processing/merchant services
- Familiarity with Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations is preferred.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.
- Keen understanding of merchant services pricing
