The Merchant Solution Sales Leader drives team performance, builds pipeline, and supports the delivery of tailored payment solutions. This role provides hands-on leadership to a sales team focused on acquiring, AR, AP, and automation products. Prior payments experience working with financial institutions is required.


What You Will Do

  • Lead and support the sales team in meeting revenue targets and pipeline goals

  • Join client meetings to improve conversion and support key deals

  • Review the sales pipeline and remove obstacles to accelerate deal flow

  • Help the team assess client needs and deliver the right payments solutions

  • Coach sales and solution consultants to improve performance and sales skills

  • Implement sales tools and processes that improve efficiency

  • Guide RFP responses to align with client needs and business priorities

  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and internal teams to equip the sales team

  • Work with channel partners to close joint opportunities and align on shared goals


What You Bring

  • Deep knowledge of acquiring and payment solutions

  • Experience selling payments for or in partnership with a financial institution is required.

  • Proven ability to lead sales teams and manage a revenue pipeline

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills

  • Clear communicator with cross-functional collaboration experience

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM platforms

  • A direct, hands-on leadership approach focused on performance and results
