Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the end-to-end technology function for a full-stack payments processor backed by a leading private equity firm. The company is entering a critical growth phase and is investing heavily in modernizing its platform, infrastructure, and data capabilities. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct ownership of the technology roadmap and execution.

What You Will Do

• Set and drive the company's long-term technology vision and architecture

• Lead all core technology functions including software development, infrastructure, data, and architecture

• Build a cloud-first environment by leading the migration off legacy, on-prem systems

• Oversee the design and execution of AI capabilities to improve operational performance

• Develop the foundation for a scalable, centralized data lake to support enterprise growth

• Lead a distributed engineering team with a focus on accountability, delivery, and performance

• Collaborate closely with product, operations, and executive leadership to align technology with business goals

• Instill strong processes and technical discipline across teams

• Retain and develop high-performing engineering talent

What You Bring

• Prior experience working in a payments company (required)

• Experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in a scaling B2B or SaaS environment

• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and experience leading end-to-end cloud migrations

• Strong technical background in modernizing complex systems and integrating siloed platforms

• Strategic perspective on how to use AI and data to drive business results

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams
