Our client makes it easy for technology companies and platforms to embed payments. They provide payments infrastructure that helps SaaS platforms and ISVs launch and manage payment workflows across card, ACH, check, processors, banks, and payment methods. They are hiring an Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition with ISVs, vertical SaaS companies, and software driven businesses. This is a full cycle sales role focused on helping customers simplify complex payment operations, improve payment performance, and maintain greater flexibility across their payments environment. This opportunity offers direct access to company leadership and the ability to help shape the sales process, messaging, and go to market approach.

What You Will Do

  • Develop relationships with decision makers at ISVs, vertical SaaS companies, and software platforms.
  • Sell a payments infrastructure and orchestration solution to businesses managing complex payment flows across processors, banks, and payment methods.
  • Prospect into target accounts and build pipeline through outbound activity, referrals, industry events, and partner relationships.
  • Manage full cycle sales activity from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Conduct discovery to understand each prospect's payment environment, business model, technical needs, and growth goals.
  • Educate prospects on how our client helps platforms embed payments and manage payment workflows across card, ACH, check, processors, banks, and payment methods.
  • Identify payment pain points related to routing, ACH, card payments, check processing, payment methods, processor flexibility, reconciliation, and operational efficiency.
  • Present business cases that connect the solution to revenue growth, operational improvement, cost savings, faster time to market, and payment performance.
  • Work with company leadership to refine sales strategy, target accounts, messaging, and market positioning.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and opportunity details in the CRM.
  • Share prospect and customer feedback with Product and leadership to help inform roadmap priorities.
  • Represent our client in the market through direct outreach, industry events, partner conversations, and customer meetings.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a payment technology company focused on software platforms.
  • Experience selling to ISVs, vertical SaaS companies, software platforms, or technically complex business buyers.
  • Payments experience strongly preferred, especially in embedded payments, integrated payments, payment orchestration.
  • Proven track record of owning a sales number and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, cold outreach, conference networking, and building a book of business.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear business value for prospects.
  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to ask effective questions about a prospect's current payment environment.
  • Confidence selling to founders, executives, product leaders, finance leaders, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a consultative sales process with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex payment concepts clearly.
  • Self starter mindset with the ability to operate in a growing company where process, playbooks, and sales materials are still being refined.
  • Interest in helping build the sales function, improve messaging, and contribute to broader go to market strategy.
