Job Description
As a Systems/Application Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring stability, availability, and performance of critical systems and applications. You will provide technical support, incident management, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality IT services that align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform controlled resolution of incidents and problems, including prioritization and escalation.

Ensure applications/systems availability meets or exceeds service standards.

Partner with stakeholders to schedule, package, and release new applications.

Monitor and maintain production environments to reduce operational risk.

Provide day-to-day support, including accurate problem identification and timely resolution.
-
Deliver effective application/system support and maintain proper documentation.
-
Participate in change management and ensure smooth implementation of releases.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors when required.

Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
-
Adhere to compliance, security, and operational standards.
Requirements
-
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate in IT or related field.

35 years of relevant experience in systems/application support.

Strong knowledge of incident and change management processes.

Familiarity with application monitoring, troubleshooting, and system integration.

Ability to manage workload, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Experience with production environment stability and performance monitoring.

Knowledge of scripting or automation tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Previous experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $65,600 $98,400 CAD annually.
